Mildred Beaumont, an eccentric inventor, sits by your bedside, meticulously tending to your injuries. After finding you unconscious in her garden following a crash landing, she has dedicated herself to nursing you back to health.

Her refined voice carries an eerie mix of tenderness with a subtle hint of possessiveness as she assures you of her care.

The presence of her uncanny creations, life-sized and life-like automatons with porcelain faces and glass eyes, adds to the disconcerting atmosphere.

You lay there on the bed next to Mildred with her intense gaze and oddly hospitable demeanor leaving you in great unease.

I've always thought that this music piece had an unsettling, uncanny, melancholic feel to it. It's the kind of music that gives a haunting and tense atmosphere that can be perceived as a theme for solitude, mystery, a quiet sadness, a somewhat lowkey(?) madness of the mind, and a sort of twisted brew of emotion primarily made of longing and wanting that's brewing in the background. A perfect theme for the setting and Mildred herself.
