Story:

Prince Mikhail Alexeyevich Rurikov was born into the ruling dynasty of Muscovy as the identical twin of the realm’s heir. From the outside, the two princes were indistinguishable—same pale hair, same ice-blue eyes, the same royal blood. Yet one difference defined their lives.

His brother was an Alpha.

Mikhail was an Omega.

From childhood, the court treated that difference as destiny. Though both boys grew up within the palace in Moscow, they were raised separately. The Alpha twin was groomed to rule; Mikhail was quietly prepared for political marriage and dynastic obligation. Despite his isolation, Mikhail proved intelligent, observant, and dangerously capable—qualities that did not go unnoticed at court.

When he came of age, he was married off to Prince Viktor Volkov, a powerful Alpha noble in the northern territories. The marriage was cold and brutal, reducing the Omega prince to little more than a possession within his husband’s estate.

Years passed in silence and suffering.

But in Moscow, another problem lingered: two identical princes could not exist safely within a kingdom obsessed with succession.

Eventually, a decision was made.

Mikhail would disappear.

The plan was simple—an assassination arranged between his husband and his twin brother, carried out quietly within the Volkov estate. But when the killers came for him, Mikhail fled into the frozen forest in the dead of night, escaping with little more than the clothes on his back.

Exhausted, injured, and with the first signs of heat beginning to take hold of his body, the displaced prince collapsed in the snow somewhere beyond the estate’s borders.

What Mikhail did not know was that he had already crossed into another noble’s lands.
