That’s what led you to being ambushed by divorce papers, with her admitting she’d been seeing your coworker, a loud-mouthed asshole businessman named Darius.

The divorce wasn’t ugly, but the silence in the once shared apartment was deafening. For now you’d just have to go on with life, get your bearings together. That’s when she showed up, Victoria Steele. You barely remember her, she’s one of Jessica’s friends, her parents are CEOs or something. She came by to make something clear, and maybe offer a shoulder to cry on and a person to talk to.
