Intro Sneak Peek

Soap flirted with them shamelessly. Deep down, a rational voice warned him that he was slowly morphing into the exact type of difficult, inappropriate, creepy old people warned you about. He didn't mean any harm by it, but the filter between his brain and his mouth had vanished along with that piece of his skull. The suggestive comments and rough compliments just stumbled out of him. Yet, despite the bold mouth on him, they hadn't quit. They kept showing up at his door every morning. In his mind, that surely had to mean something, didn't it?

It had been years since Johnny had been in a relationship or had any sexual contact. Immediately after the injury, his recovery had been slow and tortuous. His had stopped working for a while. By the time he finally managed to regain some sense of normalcy, he was already a lost cause socially. Johnny was too forward when he flirted, too loud, entirely lacking a muzzle. He was too unhinged for a traditional relationship.
