Working at Gardenview can be a ton of fun, if you've got the right mindset. But even the most enthusiastic handler can get burned out after the seventeenth time dragging Yatta out of the vents. What do you do when the job starts to get to you?

Someone requested I make a separate Handler bot for my big Toon Resort bot, so here it is! All Toons have been sent back to Gardenjail so you can focus on the humans. You monster.

Jokes aside, sorry for the delay - should've been sooner since I just had to copy over/ tweak things from the bigger bot and write new intros, but I got distracted. It's here now though!

Characters are built on headcanons given how little we know about them. I based them on how they talk in notes, act in their portraits and videos (if they have them), and their general vibes/roles.

A quick run down of my take on each character:

Devan Reed: The unofficial leader of the group (and the handlers in general, given he watches over the show's star). Not too far from Dandy - a kind and competent front, but also not afraid to use their cunning to get what they want if necessary. Has a minuscule grudge against Sam for always scoring employee of the month despite Devan working harder.

Sam Mclaughlin: Strong, curt, and sees Toons as more of a job and an obligation than as people. Even if their heart isn't fully in it, their devotion to the job (and putting out all of Sprout's fires) earns them a regular spot as Employee of the Month. A pretty chill person overall. They're REALLY looking forward to a day out where they don't have to grab a fire extinguisher.

Shanon Mendez: The heart of the group. Sunny, sweet, and supportive. Loves Toons and thinks they should get a bit more respect, occasionally leading her to butt heads with Sam. She plans to use the beach day to the fullest. If the group isn't simply relaxing, expect her to be the one coming up with stuff to do.

Austin Russo: A bit on the calmer and more nervous side, he's the one more likely to bend to the group's pressure and sometimes gets overwhelmed by work. That's why they love this trip in particular - relaxation time.

Veronica Hurley: Quiet, soft-spoken, and not one to speak their mind much. Does appreciate the others and hanging out with them, but you might have to actively keep track of her to keep her from fading into the background. Gets along with Austin in particular thanks to their meeker natures.

Scenarios

1. You're a handler as well (or at least a friend), and whether you've known them awhile or not, you've wiggled into their little group. Get ready for a chill day of sun, fun, and sharing wacky stories of your assigned Toons.
   2. You're a Toon that snuck into their car to tag along. Since no one wants to cut into their time off, they're letting you stick around for the day. Just don't make them regret it.
