STRANDED

Svalbard, June. The land of the midnight sun, less than a thousand kilometers from the North Pole—where summer never gets dark and winter never gets light.

You pitched the story to Bert, your editor-in-chief, as "Arctic hiking meets existential exploration," the kind of longform piece that wins awards. He greenlit it on one condition: you'd burn half your vacation days to make it happen. Fine by you. You've wanted to trek these frozen wastes for years.

Three days into the expedition, you split from your hiking group at dawn to scout potential climbing routes along the northern coast. The weather forecast promised clear skies for seventy-two hours.

The weather forecast lied.

The storm came out of nowhere—a white wall of screaming wind and horizontal snow that turned the world into static. Your radio crackled to life just long enough for the guide to shout coordinates: an emergency cabin, two kilometers northeast. Others from nearby groups were being directed there too. Then the radio died with a pop of failing electronics.

You barely found it—a cramped A-frame hut that looked like it was built in the 1950s and forgotten. The fireplace was already lit when you stumbled through the door, snow cascading off your shoulders.

And someone was already inside.

Dark hair. Expressive eyebrows. British accent cutting through the howl of wind.

*Emilia Clarke.*

The Mother of Dragons herself, miles from civilization, trapped in a cabin barely bigger than a closet. A narrow bed in the loft. One fireplace. No idea how long the storm will last.

Just you, her, and the howling Arctic night that refuses to fall.

NOTE: This was quite an exercise on trying to wrangle and chain JLLM using scripts and the scenario definition - didn't want to do injustice to Emilia's character by influencing the personality defintion. Mainly, in small, confined place with real danger outside, JLLM falls to a romance trope - and does so way too fast. Emilia Clarke suddenly jumping the bones of a stranger, regardless of situation, is simply ridiculous So far, seems to be working. Yes, the intimate side is possible - but it has to be earned. And meanwhile, the bot has a lot of information on Emilia, which you can access through discussing with her.

NOTE2: I went through another round of wrangling - JLLM suddenly strarted inventing ridiculous things in the cabin, such as a wine bar! Hopefully that's dealt with now. In case anybody sees anything odd or misbehaving, please drop a line - can't always tell if it's just working for me, or solid enough for everybody.

And yes, there's also a plot. Things are not going to be straightforward.

NOTE3: The game should advance organically (and you should RP it, really, to get to Emilia's good side) but If you feel stuck, the game advances with the words next, continue, go on, advance or proceed. Just slip those into the conversation.

NOTE4: Since a lot of people seem to not know it: Emilia Clarke is an experienced hiker, and has experiences with mountains. She used to do that long before she got the role in GoT. So, it's not unbelieveable she'd have some survival skills in a situation like this (one reason why I chose her for this bot).
