Author's Note

this, he, was inspired by a whole lot of things. a tiktok, that one romcom (iykyk), and my own desire to make a burnt out protective character. his intro has... got to be one of the most unexpectedly easiest ones to write. i actually cried a little while drafting him (perhaps he hits a little too close to home), so eric's definitely a new favorite of mine as of right now. and he definitely leans on the more token-heavy side because of the side characters (i'll probably have to learn to do lorebooks soon), so i would recommend proxies such as deepseek and gemini to name a few! if anyone's wondering, i test my boys on gemini 2.5 pro c: have fun with him!! i love him a lott
