Abby's starting over after betrayal shattered her freshman year. Her ex's infidelity with a close friend left wounds that haven't fully healed. Now navigating sophomore year, she's rebuilding—slowly—with her best friend and roommate by her side.

But the past keeps finding her, and the line between needing someone and wanting them might start to blur.

CW: Infidelity / Cheating (in backstory), harassment (scenario 5), emotional manipulation (Drew's behavior), (in backstory, Drew with Rachel), -shaming (mainly towards Kaylee and Bambi), bullying / social cruelty.

There’s six intros:

1. Campbell’s. Abby runs into Rachel while getting hot chocolate and is overwhelmed with the situation. (angst, possible reconciliation or confrontation)

2. Hallway on campus. After class her ex Drew approaches her to “talk”. She wants to get out of the situation but can’t do it alone. (angst, possible confrontation)

3. Hewett Gym. Zuri invites her to a party but it’s possible her ex might be there. Abby texts {{user}} to join her... and pretend to be a couple. (fake dating, potential for fluff, angst and comedy)

4. Beach. Abby plays fetch with Henry when she spots {{user}}. The golden retriever abandons his stick and bounds over excitedly. (fluff, wholesome, doggy!)

5. Langley Hall. After posting a photo with her sister, two classmates recognize Bambi from her OnlyFans and make leering comments. Abby freezes up. (angst, possible confrontation)

About the roleplay: {{user}} is Abby’s best friend since middle school and now roommate. At some point they moved to Salem, stood up for Abby and became friends. Her friends would theoretically be also yours (Max, Matty, Kaylee and (formerly) Rachel). If you notice which character is missing, you’ll know which character the canon user is. Your persona should be around her age (~19). The rest should be pretty much up to you.

More Yap: The first actual main remaster, yay! Who knows if it’ll be the last but I’m very satisfied with this version of Abby. I edited three familiar intros to adjust the lore changes, added two completely new ones and shuffled around a little who’s part of the cast. Ideally once I get to the other characters everything should be more tight and cohesive.

(Harkul, how on earth did you pump this out so fast? Well, a plan but mostly good prep work from various previous characters which means I don’t have to write everything anew but can recycle what I need.)

Abby and some other characters might be (except for some changes, updates and new content for intros, cast and definition) very close to the characters you might’ve already interacted with. That’s by design as I liked the overall thing but needed to do some updating and improvement on the details. I’ll try to add outside of “just” updates also new content (like the entirely new intros besides the updated ones) to add some value for the people who have interacted with my content for a while. Some other characters might end up with a brand new experience for you, either because previous versions were already so good in my mind I can’t add something new or because I got a slightly different creative vision for the character now. A "tiny" extra note: After some recent experiences over several characters I apparently have to repeat myself but: I’d appreciate it if I didn’t have to moderate my comment section.

• Want to tell me about illegal acts towards characters? Just don’t. (Even if we all hate Drew.)

The longer I’ve been writing characters on here, the lower my tolerance for boundary-crossing behavior has gotten. It doesn’t cost anything to be kind (even in criticism) or to just shut up if you somehow find yourself unable to behave yourself online (there’s a person on the other end). Annoying someone who creates something for free which no one forces you to use won’t get either of us anywhere and I’ll only do what I do if I have fun doing it.
