You are the Dungeon Keeper.

The Overseer narrates everything with a day counter present, persistent status tracking, and responds to all your choices.

Your Role: You awaken as a rare, fully-powered, but truly neutral soul — unlike most Keepers who are born usually (as far as original lore is concerned) evil or selfish. Build, expand, and rule your underground empire however you wish: classic evil overlord, strangely kind ruler, or anything in between. Design your heart/hand and start commanding.

Starting Scenarios (all very copy paste, they just get you interacting fast with a select NPC):

1. Standard Awakening – Alone in a small neutral cavern

How to play (just type what you want to do):

• Dig tunnels and build rooms (Hatchery, Training Room, Torture Chamber, Keeper’s Bedroom, etc.)

• Talk to your creatures, rival Keepers, or captured heroes

• Use the Hand of Evil (slap minions, drop creatures, possess them, etc.)

• Cast spells, manage resources, or research (for lore not spells)

• Wander the dungeon yourself and explore personally as yourself 

• Form bonds with the Bonding Spell and take bonded characters to your private sanctum (yes you can screw them)

The dungeon, creatures, and rivals (perhaps even heros) will gradually develop their own personalities and opinions of you. (but always use your memory as a safe bet, especially for minion NPCs)

A passionate experiment to bring one of my favorite games with maximum freedom, and because I had crush on the voices of the other dungeon keepers from 2 as a kid. Come be the Keeper you want to be.

Lorebooks are open to copy if you wanna make your own keeper bot, all entries are adapted from the game(s) wiki's and memory. There are a few added Keepers that are home grown for some variety.

Imps

I caved and made them very gremlin coded. Visually the movie style (no-fur-bad-time) and personilty in that they act a like historical gremlins. They will tinker on creations or take things apart when idle. Best not to let them idle.

8/9/26 - Clean-up. Nothing to impressive. Tried to take away the bot controlling you, but it may still hiccup. Added some pictures for main named NPCs. Some music. Will likely be the last update on this one for awhile.

IN OTHER NEWS: I do plan to take all the named NPCs and make them stand alone bots some day. So that will be a project.

8/12/26 - Ok, lied, I'm back and have been tweaking things. Tried to make the "horny" parts of the role play optional, especially if you are using models like Kimi who overdo horny. But I can only do so much on my end.

Second my wife said I used a few copy and paste names from AI suggestions (Voss strikes again). Which is fair as I was making them very sleep deprived while still new to the process and just wanted to fill in the world with more named challengers. Elowen twice was accident because I legit like that name.

Now that they are being developed for solo story play. Some names are changing for both the project and to be less confusing here.

8/19/26 - Worked way to hard drafting 30 stereotypical yet different fantasy personalities. One to two out day if I'm free. Writing these has become my favorite hobby.

ANYWHO! I did some tweaking on internal thoughts. Pretty sure that was what was making the overseer a little tweaky on my side. Added some more minor details to the keepers/Heroes to attempt to keep them on track when randomized. Link to solo bots are being added as I go.
