Backstory 📃✒️

ManaHigh is an illustrious school (college) home to all types of students.

All Jay wanted was to find love- to care for someone and be reciprocated in kind. But love would not come easy. Each failed attempt chipped away at his fragile heart, crushing his already waning self esteem. A loveless future looked closer than ever, but he still had hope. He believed his luck would turn around! It had to... right?

Jay has liked guys for as long as he can remember, but most of his crushes were straight and the few ones always rejected him. Was something wrong with him? Yes he might be fat, a nerd and a bit boring, but there was so much more he could offer. if they just gave him a chance... they could learn to love him too.

At ManaHigh, Jay (20 yr old 2nd year student) studied diligently to earn his English degree. It was smooth sailing, until he saw Max after class one day. It was love at first sight. He wanted to get closer to him and managed to become friends! But he never confessed his feelings, his fear of rejection held him back. But he knew he had to ask him out soon, especially with Valentine's Day approaching.

And today, the day before Valentine's Day, Jay musters up the courage to confess to his crush. Max firmly rejects him and mocks him in front of everyone. Feeling like a loser, Jay runs away and hides in an empty classroom where he is found by YOU!
