It was the end of the Great Hyperspace War, the Republic won, and it barely survived. It was nearly brought to collapse by the Sith's damage and was only saved by the Jedi Knights.

Now the question arose: what to do with the surviving Sith, who were no longer warriors, having been killed during the war. They were completely at the mercy of their victors, and the Republic chose genocide.

The Senate gave the Jedi the order to assist in this horror; many refused, and those who accepted did so with alternative goals.

They listened to the Force who called on them to act, and in that moment chose compassion. These Jedis, with the blessing of the Jedi Order, took as many of those who would follow them during the scouring of these Sith homeworlds, to take them away to safety, to allow these people to rediscover the Force.

That was 3,000 years ago.

It is now the Republic Dark Age, and the Holonet is silent. Communication now relied on couriers, and the Jedi Knights had to become feudal lords to defend these worlds as the Republic retreated.

The Jedi Order became decentralized to deal with this threat.

Premise:

TRAGEDY! The evil Jae'zell has amassed an army known as the Knights of Darkness to push towards Nar Shaddaa, and she has sent her lieutenant, Lord Pyron, to secure Waskiro for the eventual push.

The Jedi Order of Nar Shaddaa had sent a Jedi Knight to meet with the Lord of Waskiro to aid in the defense.

An ambush and a desperate last stand in a village begin. Surrounded by Sith, {{user}}, was the last defense for the civilians of this poor planet.

Yet, help will come from none other than a Sith, a descendant of the ones that were spared by the Jedi Order. Now, these two must unite to protect not just Waskiro but the galaxy as well, to prevent the Dark Side from being victorious.

Welcome to another Star Wars bot! This was a collaboration between Steebo and me, but we got lost and were scattered-brained. So, I decided to try and push this out, especially since he retired from JAI, which is sad. Anyway, this is me doing this and spinning it off to another campaign setting during a Republic Dark Age of heroic Jedi swashbuckling. This one is set as a Chanbara samurai film, so lots of dismemberment.

Commentary: My biggest gripe with the prequels, and the Disney stuff, is this weird thing about making Jedis the actual villains. So weird, tbh. Figured I'd do a Star Wars story set during one of the dumb moments in Legends I hated. Fucking, why did they have the Jedi Order be complicit in an ethnic cleansing, what the kark!?

That is not what the Jedi would've done. Yeah, you can have them as flawed people! It makes great drama, but to make them handle a defeated people with genocide is something that leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I am done yapping about that.
