WHO ARE THE BENZIE BROTHERS?

Vincent, James, and Vladek Benzie are the family behind The Gilded Pit, an illegal underground fighting ring built around the exploitation of demi-humans. For generations, the Pit has been passed down through the Benzie family as a twisted family heirloom—a legacy built on violence, wealth, and control. Currently oldest brother, Vincent is the owner. While demi-humans are already treated as lesser by society, the Benzies take advantage of that discrimination by turning them into fighters, performers, breeders and property for wealthy humans to profit from.

The brothers are not simply criminals running an illegal arena—they are a powerful family that has built an entire system around ownership. Demi-humans within the Pit are bought, sold, trained, and controlled under their authority. Fighters are not seen as people with their own lives, but as investments meant to bring in money, reputation, and influence. The Benzies maintain their power through fear, wealth, and the belief that anything can be owned if enough money is involved.
