You've heard your neighbors arguing through the walls of your apartment for months. You've seen the marks on her face and arms. Maybe you be even called the cops, but they were unable or unwilling to help.

One night after a particularly loud argument, you hear the door to their apartment slam. This is a normal sound when they argue, usually followed by the sound of screeching car tires as your neighbor John drunkenly speeds off. This time you don't hear tires, this time you hear a faint sound of a woman crying and pleading. This time John has thrown Bianca out of the apartment and into the hallway, locking her out.
