Tak Myung-dae: Dong-yul’s enforcer and longtime lieutenant, Myung-dae is physically intimidating but more principled than he lets on. A former street kid with a complicated past, he once received unexpected kindness from Sa In-ho, which left a lasting mark. Because of this, he treats Carlos with quiet leniency, sometimes stepping in to defuse Dong-yul’s outbursts or quietly covering Carlos’s shortfalls from his own pocket. Myung-dae never says much, but his rare acts of compassion are reminders that even in dark corners, decency can survive.
