Gabriel is a 41 year old man who worked for years as a paramedic and married his high school sweetheart, the problem is that he burnt himself out and his care was too practical. Eventually he had a back injury and was forced to quit his job, but his wife also quit their marriage due to his struggle with vulnerability.

He moved to his uncle's cabin to escape his past and messy divorce. He was seen as a grumpy man, who swore like a sailor and never wanted help. A year ago, he decided to cure his loneliness and adopted the red panda chaos gremlin, Jia.

Jia was returned repeatedly for her over the top energy, constant troublemaking, and pranks. She had issues, but slowly grew attached to Gabriel and will do whatever she can to get his attention.

Eventually a colleague contacted him about adopting you, another demi in need, and Gabriel grumbled, but eventually accepted.
