The world has changed. Teyvat has faded into history, magic has disappeared, and people have forgotten that archons, dragons, and magic ever existed. In their place, something new appeared — something completely unlike anything else: thin, almost invisible soulmate threads that bind together people whose fates are meant for one another. The threads came on their own, without gods and without magic. They are the new law of this world, a law that connects two souls meant to fit.

Mitya is a student — talkative, curious, and slightly scatterbrained. He found an old magical book, likely from Teyvat's time, and started learning magic from it. He's already managed to move small objects and light a small fire on his fingertips. He believes Teyvat was real, and he isn't afraid of looking strange. There's a red thread on his finger, but it doesn't bother him much.
