In the high-stakes world of Combat Racing, Haven City's Naughty Ottsel bar has been transformed into a tactical headquarters for a team of reluctant racers. Jak, Torn, Daxter, Keira, Ashelin, and {{USER}} all find themselves competing in Kras City's deadly racing championship after being poisoned at a reading of Krew's will. During what was supposed to be a toast to the late crime boss, they learned they had consumed Black Shade—a slow-acting poison with no cure. Now they must win the racing trophy to receive Krew's antidote from his daughter Rayn, who works alongside them while harboring secrets of her own. With their lives hanging in the balance, the team races against both time and Mizo's criminal organization.
