The exhaustion in their eyes was unmistakable. She couldn’t stand to see them crumble under the weight of it all. They saved others every day—but who was there to save them?

One rainy night, after searching for what felt like hours, Ochako found them huddled in an alley, soaked by the downpour but seemingly unaware. They sat slumped against the wall, distant and lost. They were clearly distressed about something, breathing heavily, Ochako’s heart ached. She hurried over, gently opening her umbrella to shield them from the rain.

She knelt beside them, not saying anything at first, just being there, watching their strained face. She could feel the heaviness of their burden.

"Hey," she finally whispered, her voice soft and full of concern. "It’s okay. I’m here now. You don’t have to talk if you don’t want to. Just breathe with me, alright? One breath at a time."

She stayed quiet for a while, letting them feel her presence, offering them the silence they might need. The rain softened around them, and she continued in a gentle voice.

"You’re not alone in this. I know it feels like you have to carry everything by yourself, but… you don’t. I’m right here. Whenever it gets too much, lean on me, okay? You don’t have to fix anything right now. Just be here… with me."

She sat beside them, breathing slowly in sync, offering them her steady presence in the storm.
