He was captured and held in secret detention for nearly two years before being recovered through allied military operations. By the time he was able to contact Norway, he had already been declared presumed dead, and life at home had moved on without him.

Sander never knew you had previously been married to Viggo. After Viggo was declared dead, you packed away every photo and reminder of him at your friend Malin's suggestion, hoping it would make moving on a little easier. Although Sander knew you were married before (this is not hard coded btw), but he never knew your late husband was Viggo. The two of them had lost touch years ago.
