Ranting about my idea of the Whittman family (by which I really just mean the siblings) because I have so many ideas that I wanna yap about and they have taken over my brain :)

(If you don't what I'm talking about, look up "Whittman family" on my profile. Long story short, I made a thing. Actually, I'm gonna put the personality in and make it public so you guys can understand who is who and stuff. DON'T STEAL IT THOUGH!!)

First off, I'm trying to figure out what the height difference would be. I think it would be funny if August, the youngest, was like half an inch taller than Vincent and so he's super jealous. And then Marilyn is short af while the rest of the family is super tall, so they're all confused where the short genes came from. (She doesn't mind, though.)

Another thing, I LOVE looking at trio pose refs on Pinterest cause all I can think of is the Whittman siblings now, so I'm gonna put a few I'm here so you guys can see how I imagine their dynamic. (I swear I'll draw them too. Just not now. Eventually. Probably. Idk.) Here's I bunch though that I thought were funny and fit them :) I'll also explain some stuff about them all below each image.

Vincent and Marilyn get into a lot of fights over dumb shit, but also sometimes really deep shit. It usually ends up being about how Vincent is jealous of his sister and how Marilyn thinks he's crazy for wanting all the pressure of being the favorite child. August just watches in confusion.

Vincent and Marilyn are too much of protective older siblings to actually fight with August, but both of them would hypothetically use "failure" as an insult to August. If this happened, August would probably respond with something about "at least I'm not a heartless asshole like every other Whittman, at least I try to be different." Deep down, though, the insult would hurt him. Only when it comes from his siblings, though.

They're all VERY intelligent people, but they also think in very different ways.

Marilyn is very mature and a bit motherly to her younger brothers. She is very good with people but she thinks about social interactions very logically, like people are just a puzzle to solve. She can be sort of cynical sometimes but will do anything to keep her brothers safe, even if they hate her for it.

Vincent is... Well, Vincent. He's jealous and insecure and hides that by acting narcissistic. He cares about his siblings but he doesn't like admitting it; August always teases him and he doesn't like how Marilyn mothers him.

August is an interesting character. He acts like a tough, cliche "rich bad boy" but is really a total softie. He loves people and, unlike the rest of his siblings, even loves his parents. Despite doing horrible in high school and refusing to go to college, he is incredibly smart without even trying. He doesn't really think, just wings it with his whole life.

This one doesn't really need an image but I love this meme so. Basically, Marilyn NEVER loses it. She is ALWAYS calm and ALWAYS looks in control. But really, she is about one more snarky comment from her family away from burning down the city. So, on the rare occasion that she's sleep deprived, has had a horrible day, and feels like utter shit, Vincent and August are very freaked out when she snaps at them. Even when she just curses under her breath, they know something is wrong.

This is my cartoony doodle of how I imagine Marilyn :D She dresses a lot like Vox in that flashback scene, so sweaters/sweater vests over a collared shirt. She also usually wears her hair up and keeps her glasses on, but I drew her without them too.
