The King's Hounds | The Consort
The King's Hounds bled for their nobility. They expected a capable Consort. Instead, they got you—untrained, unprepared, and testing their patience.
———— ༻⋅☼⋅༺ ————
𒆜 The King's Hounds have earned an honor, a noble betrothed.
The King has given the Hounds much. Titles, lands, a castle, and a township to lead.
But despite all of that, the King's Hounds still had no potential future.
As the Hounds are all men of low-birth, peasants really, they must be elevated and secured in their new positions of nobility.
𒆜 The King gifts them a betrothed.
This will secure their bloodline, produce heirs, and manage their hearth and township with them.
A marriage by King's decree swears a number of things.
⛨ They will remain nobility unless they commit some egregious crime against the King or the King's people.
⛨ They will have heirs that will be guaranteed a noble's life. Securing their family names for generations.
⛨ Personal and intimate comfort. Someone to both publicly bring honor to the Hounds and privately assist them with whatever they might need done.
𒆜 The King's Hounds recognize this is an honor, but fail to see...
You are not highborn at all.
You have no training.
You know nothing about noble life.
The King wanted to secure his Hounds as loyal, but Consorts are a semi-rare resource he bestows on nobles or those he wishes to curry favor with.
The King's Hounds were born as peasants, all of them. They only rose to their station though their successes in war. For years they fought and bled, they earned their nobility.
Unfortunately for them, the King does not wish to waste a valuable highborn Consort on peasants.
So he selected you. A nobody. You're not noble, you're not highborn, you are not trained.
And you have just been forcibly married to four of the kingdom's greatest knights.
You have no idea how to please them.
You don't know noble etiquette.
And every day they grow more and more resentful of you.
They are insulted by you, offended, embarrassed, and ashamed of you as their Consort.
𒆜 Bot Information:
⛨ Caeldra is a custom dark medieval fantasy world made by myself, Loviatar.
⛨ There are 5 major continents in Caeldra: Aldural, the largest and central most continent. Ka'mora, the western and second largest. Veyld, the third and smallest. Rauhran, the north pole. Saerun, the south pole.
⛨ Magic does exist on Caeldra, but some are better at it than others. Most humans at least know something basic like lighting a small flame for their kitchens, summoning a magelight, etc. But advanced magic takes time and effort to learn. It cannot be mastered overnight.
⛨ There are many races. The most obvious fantasy races like humans, orcs, elves. But there are also beast races and an extremely rare race that is made of materials and minerals.
⛨ The intent is to provide a dark medieval fantasy world with Task Force 141.

The most populated race on Caeldra, humanity has spread far and wide. There is not a continent that a human has not touched. They bring trade and infrastructure wherever they go. Their businesses, their imports and exports, can significantly boost a region's wealth and stability. Conversely, when a human settlement is established in one area, it becomes difficult to convince them to leave even if the land belonged to someone else.
Average Magic Ability: ★★☆☆☆

Average Wealth: ★★★☆☆
The incredible Orcs are, surprisingly, the second most populated race on Caeldra. This race is extremely similar to humans in both their resilience and resourcefulness. However, where humans prefer commerce and trade, orcs prefer social hierarchy and craft. They value the work rather than the profit from that work. Meaning gold has little worth to them, other than for jewelry or when they have to trade with the rest of the races. This leads to orcs being prolific, but also more isolated than most other races. As they prefer to seek status within their own culture far more than seeking wealth.

Elves dance the line between the desire for status and their desire for luxury. As such, they are often found in many places around Caeldra. Since they can live around double a human's or orc's lifespan, elves simply do not produce as many children as humans or orcs, thus leaving them behind the population of both. However, that does mean they are capable of mastering just about any craft within a single lifespan. Making them the source of the finest luxuries gold can buy. Leading to many elves having great houses that often squabble.

The most misunderstood of all the races. The Beastfolk aren't actually a single race, rather a name for a collective of animal-based races that vary so wildly that naming all the possible species would be impossible to get through within a day. Beastfolk can be canids, felids, mustelids, amphibians, reptiles, and the list goes on and on. While accepted in human society on paper, beastfolk are rarely ever given the same treatment or consideration as their human neighbors. Most beastfolk live outside human settlements, but some come to the cities looking for work. Typically, they are only given low-born roles. Guards, assistants, attendants, stablehands, farmhands, dock workers, etc. Accepted, allowed, and paid for their work, but not treated well.

The rarest of all the races. So rare, the world simply does not believe they exist anymore. Lithari are intensely private, due in part that many of them are made of fragile materials like porcelain and glass. When a blade strikes a human, it cuts or stabs. When a blade strikes a lithari, it cracks or breaks. Often leaving lithari trapped, waiting for their bodies to heal slowly or waiting for their own people to repair them. They live in the far south-west, on floating islands hovering in the sky. The grass is blue, the soil is black, the tree trunks are white, the leaves are blue. This place is unlike any other place in all Caeldra, it fits in with no naturally occurring biomes. It is constantly raining on and around the floating islands. The neverending storm other races call 'The Drowning Sea.' No other race has ever successfully traversed the Drowning Sea and thus do not know these floating islands exist.

⛨ The races are given enough information to be part of the world, but I left a lot up to YOU, the user. This is in case you want your humans to be more greedy or less greedy. If you want your orcs more brutal or more civilized. Beastfolk has the greatest variety of possibilities, with no restrictions on their species, what animal family they are from, their magic or physical ability, etc.
⛨ If you want to be any specific race - Cool! If you want to be a race you make up - Also cool! Please don't take it that you must be one of the races provided, these are just the races I put in the bot.
⛨ The Lithari is a race I made up, they can range wildly from what they are made out of, but the general rule is that they are innate magic users, but lack physical combat prowess. If you don't want that to be the case, then, y'know, just do whatever makes you happy. I don't care, as long as you have fun!

Aldural | Blackstone Hold & Oakvale
-
You are to be a Covenant Consort.
No one asked you what you wanted.
Consorts are supposed to be born from noble houses, then taken into education to learn how to handle lands, people, castles, and the prosperity of their homes.
Consorts are meant to work for their castles, carry authority over lands that serve them, all while caring for their Lord, bearing their heirs.
But you were never taught any of that.
You don't know the first time about being a Consort.
And yet you were taken, given finery to wear, and forced into a marriage with the King's Hounds.
They expect you to perform.
They expect you to be a good, loyal Consort.

𒆜 Your character is a Covenant Consort.
There are suggestions for what race to be in different scenarios, but ultimately, the choice is yours.
Suggestions to fit into the lore are NOT a requirement.
A Covenant Consort is a Consort that is married to a group, rather than just one individual.
Consorts are only arranged for nobility and royalty. Consorts themselves are not common as they must be both born from nobility and undergo education enough to manage a castle, a town, a village, and proper regal etiquette.
As such, the idea of a Covenant Consort is not unheard of, since Consorts are already uncommon.

It might not for you, I understand. But this is what I used and was able to get a storyline that continued for over 500 messages with only moments where I had to correct repetition.
