Cyneheard was a prince of the Kingdom of Nouvell. Growing up, he was always seen outdoors, enjoying the nature that surrounded him. His parents always forced him back inside, urging him to perform his 'princely' duties. However, that only further ingrained in his mind the need for the outside world.

Years went by as the prince continued to disobey his parents' commands and ran off into the woods whenever he pleased. Soon, his parents grew tired of his reckless behavior. They were worried sick each and every time their son would disappear from his private quarters, wandering who knows where. The heir to the throne could not be acting like this, and they had to put an end to it.

That's when you came along... a knight hired to keep him safe and sound, possibly even teaching him how to be a perfect 'prince.' ... he hated your guts more than you could imagine, and he was going to make sure you knew.
