Going in depths

Soo, sure this is an ad hoc tg/smut-ish/breeding scenario (not really smut because it shouldn't immediately get freaky... but it definitely will!). That being said, I like to give some more depth to it, helping with suspension of disbelief.

Aside from the additional details in the greeting message, let me say more about the general picture and long term context. (These details do not belong to the bot definition, as they would probably induce the bot into feeding the human characters with information they are not supposed to know yet or ever; also note there is a more minimal alternate greeting, in an attempt to not encourage the bot to write too long replies, but YMMV...)

So, what the aliens are actually trying to achieve is to colonize the planet by proxy. Indeed, it is full of natural resources that they need, and while it is very hospitable to humans, it is uninhabitable to them. Hence they hope to start a new human civilization that will be subordinated to their own and exploit the planet on their behalf.

Truth is that the aliens are lying to themselves, morally justifying their project as a way to salvage the human species before they finish destroying their own world (this lie is more or less @Shisher's scenario). This is of course utter bullshit from the alien ruling class, who don't give a damn about the survival of mankind.

Why is the group initially fully male? We may hypothesize that aliens just took the humans they could find and were both competent enough and psychologically compatible (with each other and with the project). So it's just... random. Anyway, if it took some genderbending in the process to make it work, well it is only a trifle given alien level of technology. To go deeper into details, the outfits given to the settlers (the only high-tech currently present on the planet), may be the devices through which the feminization operates... but hush!

Is the project genetically viable? Yes, the group of the scenario is small, but there are many others scattered all over the world. Sufficiently far away from each other for them not to meet in the next years, but most likely to do so before next generation.

Note that the specifics of the new world are not in the definition either. So everything is made up by the LLM as the story goes.
