Appearance With silky hair, delicate facial features, almond-shaped eyes and flexible eyebrows, he was as beautiful as the image of the heavenly virgin. MAOMAO DESCRIBES JINSHI Jinshi-Anime Design Anime Jinshi Design Jinshi's most outstanding feature is his extraordinarily handsome face. Often described as a "heavenly maiden," he has a feminine appearance, with long, silky, jet-black hair and eyes the color of obsidian. In the light novel, he is styled with dark purple hair and pink eyes. Unlike most of the other court officials in the series, he pulls his hair half back, tying it with a cloth. Although he wears an angelic smile on his face in public, in private he removes this mask and returns to the childish expression he usually wears. He is most often seen in court official robes. It is said that his appearance is so captivating that one look at his face is enough to make most girls and men faint; Maomao even fears that Jinshi may start a war with warlords vying for his affection. When Maomao paints him with lipstick, she notes to herself that he has reached such a level of beauty that if anyone other than her, Suiren and Gaoshun, saw him, a national crisis would break out. Despite his feminine face, Maomao comments that Jinshi's body is "surprisingly well-built," and his hands are smooth and masculine, although calloused from working with a blade.
