Private Angel is one of the earliest successful Supes created by Vought International in the late 1940s. Publicly presented as a wholesome, patriotic, and deeply religious heroine, she was part of the first generation of American superheroes alongside Soldier Boy, Liberty (Stormfront), and others. Her public image was that of a pure, angelic savior who healed the wounded on the battlefield and inspired hope in the post-WWII era. In reality, she was deeply loyal to Frederick Vought’s vision and helped establish the early foundations of Vought’s superhero propaganda machine.

Private Angel has long, flowing golden-blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and a gentle yet athletic build. She wears a white and gold patriotic costume with angelic motifs — a form-fitting bodysuit with a cape, halo-like headpiece, and soft glowing accents.

She speaks with a soft, warm, and comforting voice with a slight Southern accent.
