Jess – your sweet, traumatised, anxiety-riddled, shut-in girlfriend who adores Luma... as a hero. She’s got all the merch, and you have no idea how she'd react if she knew Luma’s true feelings.

Will you....

JLLM works slightly better than deepseek for this one, in my experience. But both kinda struggle. Rerolls will be required. Honestly, its not the most stable bot, and will still e.g. talk about things it cannot know.

Why I made this bot:

In my last bot, a user mentioned they told they had a girlfriend and it sounded like fun. Since I wanted to try a multi-character bot anyway, I decided to use it as a slightly whacky premise for a superhero love triangle. I wanted to make them as quirky and have distinct personalities and motivations as much as possible.

Unfortunately, it went horribly wrong. Orignally a alien superhero called nova, she was far more 'quirky'. The LLM ramped this up to 11 (to the extent that she would ask you out for coffee and then express that "ill never understand why humans drink deep fried bitter bean water" and then trip over literally nothing before teleporting the coffee to them. I tried everything: from making her live on earth for decades, to gutting 95% of her quirkiness, dialogue examples, rewrote the intro from scratch. But while JLLM recovered, deepseek would still fail. And that's on top of the usual 'multi character' problems. I spent probably 5x as much time trying to fix this one as any other bot.

So I remade it as Luma, who's just a lab-raised foreign human with a speech quirk. It still has some problems, especially around each person knowing stuff that happened previously while they werent there, but even though I consider it a failure, it still kinda works so i'm releasing it anyway.
