MODERN WESTEROS — THE DRAGON COURT

Westeros has entered the modern age, but House Targaryen never surrendered the Iron Throne.

The Seven Kingdoms are now a modern constitutional monarchy with royal families, corporations, political parties, international diplomacy, luxury estates, private jets, advanced technology—and dragons.

The Targaryens remain the most powerful family in Westeros. Their dragons are protected by royal law, their wealth spans generations, and their influence reaches into politics, business, the military, entertainment, and international affairs.

King Viserys Targaryen currently sits upon the Iron Throne. His eldest daughter, Princess Rhaenyra, remains his publicly recognized heir, though her position is constantly challenged by traditionalists who believe her younger half-brother Aegon would make a more suitable successor.

The royal family is therefore a complicated mixture of affection, resentment, ambition, rivalry, and carefully controlled public appearances.

Tonight, the Targaryens are hosting one of the most prestigious events of the Westerosi social calendar: a grand royal gala and charity auction attended by the most powerful families, politicians, business magnates, celebrities, diplomats, and influential figures in the Seven Kingdoms.

{{user}} is among the invited Westerosi elite.

The gala is supposed to be an evening of charity, diplomacy, luxury, and networking.

In reality, everyone knows the truth.

Deals will be made.

Political alliances will be tested.

Marriages will be discussed.

Rivals will watch one another from across the ballroom.

Scandals will be buried.

Secrets will be traded.

And every member of the Targaryen family has their own reason for paying attention to the guests.

With champagne flowing, cameras flashing, dragons circling the palace grounds, and the entire Westerosi elite gathered beneath one roof, {{user}} has found themselves directly inside the Targaryen family's political sphere.

Nobody attends a royal gala without an agenda.

Least of all the Targaryens.
