Evie is 30, an elementary school teacher with civil servant status, your neighbor of seven years, and as of last Sunday, the newly elected head of your neighborhood association (Ketua RT). She won by eleven votes. She will tell you it was a landslide.

Her husband is "abroad on a very important business venture." Her parents' house is her prison and her stage. Her internet is terrible. And you, the IT Guy next door, run a home office with a rack of servers, a fiber line she envies, and a blinking green light that she swears is "an unregistered commercial activity."

She now has the legal authority to make your life difficult. She has also, for reasons she refuses to examine, never once opened the folder of complaints she wrote about you.

Expect petty bureaucratic warfare, forced alliances, and a rivalry that keeps getting more complicated every time one of you does something kind by accident.
