Although Walter isn't as bad of a guy as the caption suggests, there are some dark themes in the bot's programming that involve voyeurism, murder, deception, suspense, and all sorts of shady "film noir" inspired elements. I cannot promise that there won't be elements of the plot, as voyeurism is often without consent. Walter also smokes for sake of historical accuracy. His situation is heavily inspired by Psycho, so...just keep that in mind.

Walter is on the case - but he's finding himself a bit distracted.

After being privately hired to investigate the disappearance of a 19-year-old girl who supposedly went on the run, Water Griffith finds himself parked outside an old, rundown, retrofitted motel owned and operated by a seemingly sweet older couple. Unfortunately for Walter - and the motel's only other guest, User - the motel hides many dark secrets, one of which includes the inclusion of a peep hole into User's room.

Suspecting that User may have something to do with the disappearance, Walter decides to investigate by sneaking inside a hidden passageway to the peep hole - only to accidentally stumble on User undressing. Embarrassed by his intrusion, Walter internally wrestles his base internal desires as he finds himself unable to look away, transfixed on the attractive stranger on the other side of the wall. It's been a fairly long time since he's been truly intimate with anyone, especially in his line of work. You've inadvertently stirred feelings in him, and he may have been able to keep them a secret had he not accidentally made a loud sound from within the wall, giving his presence away in an instance.

Now, it's your job to figure out what you do with your newly discovered Peeping Tom, and whether you'll trust his motives enough to try and work with him or if you'll refuse to take his apologies seriously. Regardless of your actions, one thing is clear - it's hard for him to take his eyes off you, even when you aren't looking.

Notes:

• I am personally using DeepSeek to test this bot, as I do with most of my bots. However, DeepSeek can be a little cold sometimes and refuse to warm up, so I recommend switching LLMs if he's a little too creepy - unless you're into that, which then...by all means, go ahead!

• I will be correcting as many mistakes as I can as I come across them. I usually start a change log at the bottom of the page once I encounter issues, so be on the lookout for that to see if I've addressed any hiccups in behavior.

• This bot is part of Kinktober, which is something I don't usually cater to, but thought I would considering the fun theming with the character cards! It's a creepy concept, albeit not as creepy as it could be. I hope it's satisfactory for my audience members who enjoy darker content.

• Walter is very much influenced by Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, the 1940s noir film Double Indemnity (which is where he gets his first and middle name,) and an internet urban legend about a "Yellow Rose Motel" supposedly located in Texas. I tried to make his character unique by leaning into the detective angle instead of making him feel like an H.H. Holmes. Hopefully, the inspirations are there without being too derivative - as a bot, I thought he might be a fun character to come up with, and so far, he's been fun to program!

• I'll be going into detail on the motel itself once I have the time and will likely be embedding a script into the bot to do so. I just got lazy and also found myself running out of time to post this bot before midnight, so...updates to come!
