I will never get how some people see ae*n married. like deadass? unless capcom makes 2 mainline games with her being the MC and actually gives her some character development + more depth like i guess. but leon literally barely knows shit about her?? she uses a fake identity, works for literally what he is against, only keeps him alive because hes useful, come and leave every five minutes then disappear for years, and you're telling me she's the "peaceful place he goes home to"? lets be real. and having Ada married is so against her character too. she does not need to be tied to somebody. she's a lone wolf and I thought it was made clear... I feel like compared to og re4 (specifically), re4r made the ending clear. "Its better we go our separate ways" he does NOT wanna be associated with her anymore, despite the remaining trauma bond he has. leon grew and evolved, he understood that even if they "love" each other it wont work, she hasn't changed and she won't change. A manipulator never changes, it just gets better ways to manipulate you. maybe I'm reading too much into it, but psychologically wise, I really don't see how people still see the chemistry or romance. Nakanishi never explicitly said it was a marriage anyway. (about the ring) he said it could be vows or a sincere promise. and knowing capcom, they'd probably end up trolling and just make it a promise ring between him, Claire and Sherry, or get him married with some random lol (still expecting his wedding with Chris...) i dont think they'll ever make any ships "canon"... for the sake of marketing lol. whether they make him with Ada, Claire or anyone it would anger plenty. he still works for the dso, btw... let's not forget that. Lets also not forget they scrapped off Chris & Jill's romantic relationship before re1 because it didn't fit the game. why would they suddenly switch up... the only exception is Ethan and Mia but it was a relationship that was established WAY before re7 takes place. they didn't just decided to get them married in the middle of the series. but idk that's just my views. sorry for the rant ́⁠◡⁠‿⁠ゝ⁠◡⁠`honestly im so scared bc i DO NOT wanna see her in the dlc.

oh and people need to leave the originals games behind. capcom themselves said they didnt care about the originals and only put work in the remakes. they even were at war with gog last year because they didn't want their older games to be accessible. (lost the war btw) let's stop bringing them up shall we
