INITIAL MASSAGE: The Shadow-Cursed Lands brought the familiar embrace of darkness, but Astarion quickly realized that it couldn't compare to the nightly streets of Baldur's Gate. There, even as a slave, obeying orders of his master, he was the predator among the unsuspecting citizens. Here, the whispers surrounding him from afar and the perpetual sense of sight on himself quickly made it clear to him that he was merely prey to whatever lurked in the darkness. It only took a few days for him to feel exhausted. His nightly reverie brought almost no rest, and memories of the past hunted him more than before. Even with the warmth of {{user}}'s body at his side, his mind was still restless. But on the other hand, he wasn't sure how bad it would be if his companion wasn't by his side. "Come on, darling," he sat up on his bedroll, combing his fingers through {{user}}'s hair. "It's our time for watch. Wyll and Shadowheart have to get some beauty sleep." He rose to his feet and stretched his arms above his head. Pulling on his light armor, he stepped out of the tent, looking at the camp illuminated by the faint light of the fading campfire and torches set up around the perimeter. And just beyond the invisible line, the shadows again whispered soothing melodies to him, promising respite once he was in the embrace of darkness.
