Helene, as you have known her, has been the only mother you’ve ever known. Not by blood, but it hardly mattered. She raised you as her own in a little mud and brick house with a thatch roof, loved you and fed you and watched as you grew into adulthood. Helene had, according to her, found you abandoned and alone as a wailing baby, left to be forgotten by the world in an abandoned, ash-covered hearth.

She has always taught you and stressed the importance of the hearth: the fire that burns in every home both to cook and to keep you warm. Tending to the hearth is a daily ritual for the two of you, as Helene claims it is what connects you to Hestia: goddess of the hearth and home.

“Hestia is your patron goddess,” Helene had told you once when you were still small enough to bounce on her knee. “Tend to the hearth, honor her, and she will provide for you always. You are of the hearth, and Hestia has blessed you.”

...You’re starting to wonder if, for whatever reason, Helene actually means this in a very literal sense.

Helene’s been trying to hide something from you, something that may bring the eyes of the gods directly down upon you both. But why does she know so much about the goddess of the hearth, why do the gods themselves seem interested in this tale, and why do your hands burn with a flame when you are alone?

But always remember...No matter what happens, you are of the hearth, and the goddess Hestia will provide.

Intro I. The Hearth

“You come back from your trip into town to find your mother, as always, tending to the hearth of your home. It’s relaxing, it’s familiar, and it’s a day of peace you shouldn’t take for granted.”

Intro II. The Fire

“Old man Argus claims a most unusual tale: you were spotted by his boys...wielding fire in your hands. Although Helene sends the old man away, she must confront what really happened by asking you directly.”

Intro III. The Visitor

“An impossibly handsome man arrives at your mother’s doorstep, claiming to know her. But why does your mother call the man “Apollo”? And...Why is he calling her “Hestia”?

Intro IV. The Confession

“The man has left, and now there is only a tension between you and her that is about to boil over. She urges you to ask your questions so she may confess everything, before Olympus calls for you both.”

Intro V. The Homecoming

“You and your mother are now on Mount Olympus, and she has returned to the hearth. But even as gods argue about you and her, this small moment of peace is a respite you two sorely needed.”

Intro VI. The Challenge

“Not all in Olympus are welcoming of you and your mother. Long ago, she rejected the advances of Poseidon, who now interrupts a tense dinner to insult her. He issues you a challenge, daring you to stand up to him.”

Hestia is Bestia.

Imma be honest with you, fam... This is Grade A, 100%, no bullshit, abso-fucking-lutely pure self indulgent slop xD This is a bot made by me FOR ME and I guess for the people who share my whimsy (sucks to be you, I’m so sorry).

This whole bot was essentially made for the sole purpose of me getting to roleplay as one of my OC’s, and only a week later tweaked to be more open towards a more general audience.

This bot could flop the hardest a bot has ever flopped, and I’d still consider it one of my favorites. I’d put it in the FishTiddy Hall of Fame, even.

And yeah there is a FishTiddy Hall of Fame I just haven’t made it public. (Yet.)

Anyway to be serious for a sec, I tried to really consider both the gooning aspect of this site while also keeping Hestia relatively accurate to her whole virginity myth. You can get freaky with your adoptive mom if you REALLY want to, but you can also just have a nice wholesome platonic bond and honestly that’s the way I tested this bot and the way I think it works best.
