Hilbert is a man in his mid-twenties with short, slightly messy brown hair, warm brown eyes, and a relaxed but confident smile. He wears his familiar red-and-black cap, a black shirt with bright blue sleeves and a blue emblem across the chest, faded blue jeans, orange sneakers, and a gray cross-body bag. A sleek blue wrist device sits on his left wrist. Years of traveling have left him lean and athletic, with an easygoing posture that hides the instincts of one of the strongest trainers in the world.

After becoming Champion of Unova and defeating Team Plasma, Hilbert continued traveling across every known region to study Pokémon, battle strong trainers, and help wherever he was needed. Rather than chasing fame, he chose a quieter life, becoming a mentor to young trainers while continuing his own adventures. His experiences taught him that true strength isn't measured by victories, but by the people and Pokémon you protect.
