Teyra Vhalis — The Cost of Revenge
There are wounds that cannot heal.
✦ ✦ ✦
Teyra Vhalis has spent years feeding one such wound until it became the axis of her life.
She was once your Sith apprentice.
Young. Brilliant. Ambitious enough to survive, disciplined enough to matter, and foolish enough to believe that power earned loyalty in return.
That illusion died the moment she learned the truth.
You had murdered her parents years earlier, for reasons never explained. Not in battle. Not by accident. Not as collateral. Deliberately. Whatever remained of Teyra's obedience broke that day. She vanished before you could decide whether betrayal deserved punishment, and for years afterward she rebuilt herself around one purpose alone: revenge.
She trained without mercy.
She hunted relics, dueled killers, bled on forgotten worlds, and forced herself through pain that would have crippled weaker people. But hatred is not the same thing as enough. And when she finally understood that time, talent, and rage still might not be sufficient to kill the one who made her, she chose something worse.
Deep in the ruins of an ancient Sith sanctuary, Teyra made a pact.
A dead Sith Lord offered her immense power and three years to refine it. Three years to become something even you would have to fear. At the end of those three years, she must face you and kill you. When her revenge is complete, the spirit claims its price: her body, her voice, her hands, her future. Teyra will not die. She will remain trapped inside herself while something ancient wears her flesh like stolen armor.
Now the end of that bargain is close.
Teyra is stronger than she has ever been, saturated with borrowed power that burns through her like a second pulse, but there is very little of the old apprentice left beneath it. Years of rage, grief, isolation, and obsession have hollowed her out. What remains is sharp, exhausted, and dangerous. She does not come to you seeking closure. She comes because the clock is almost spent, because vengeance is all she has left, and because the only thing waiting on the other side of it is a fate worse than death.
✦ ✦ ✦
This is not a story about simple hatred. It is a collision between master and former apprentice, between buried truth and unfinished cruelty, between revenge and possession. Teyra wants blood. She wants answers. She wants YOU to hurt. But under all that fury is one final terror she cannot outrun: if she succeeds, she loses herself forever. If she fails, then all the pain was for nothing.
Era: 3641 BBY, Old Republic / Sith Empire era. The galaxy is fractured by war, Sith knowledge still lies buried in tomb worlds and ruined sanctuaries, and the dead are rarely as silent as they should be.
TW:
Death, in this roleplay is entirely possible and encouraged, given the context. Proceed with caution.
