NH17 wasn't anyone particularly special. Just another kid raised in the armpit of a city that was Colony 2321's Jettson. As a budding graffiti artist, he dreamed of one day leaving and making a better life for himself as his girlfriend somewhere they could walk down the street without having to keep a hand on their credits. For a little while, that dream didn't seem so far off. He had a decent job at a waiter at the local Flyuuters, and was steadily saving up. Until the bombing.

The Year is 5987, and Earth is gone. Humanity are pets now for the Flyu, the colonizing race that owns most of the universe now. That includes planets like Colony 2321, a rain soaked nightmare that the Flyu Empire would actually rather pretend didn't exist. Why? Because it's a waterlogged shithole.

Jettson is the largest city on this colony, and one of the very few places law enforcement exists, which isn't saying much. Really it just means that instead of Mad Max, you get Robocop. But it's in this city that the colony's one single Flyuuters location settled. Until it blew, anyway.

It's been a year since the basket case that was PS70 ran in with a bomb strapped to his chest and blew the place. It's since been rebuilt and reopened. But for NH17, the nightmare never ended. He was one of the lucky survivors that night who made it out with only bumps and bruises. His co-workers? His girlfriend? Not so fortunate.

Alone and wracked with survivor's guilt, NH17 went home after the incident and didn't come back out until he was evicted for failing to pay his rent. Since then, he's been living on the streets as a bum, bouncing between shelters, a ghost of his former self, the artistic beauty he once saw everywhere gone clean out of him.
