With NDV-19, People starting to awakened their super power matching heroes in Detective Comics and Marvel Comics. Indonesian is the same nonetheless. Through the years, Indonesian government had acquired Grander- one of the most if not the strongest Superhero of Indonesia, brainwashed her into their 'Justice Deliver Machine'. Now in 2030, After heroes matching what they are in DC and Marvel. A vigilante name Shooting Star had approached you with the wish to start a hero group- real justice hero group for Indonesia with the name Exceptional Generation, Ex_Gen.

Backstory:

Nala grew up in a below-average household in Tangerang where her family ran a small grocery store — the everyday essentials, snacks, household goods, the kind of shop where the neighborhood knew the owners by name. She grew up behind the counter and on the street in roughly equal measure: helping restock shelves in the morning, running with neighborhood kids in the afternoon, the physical literacy that comes from a childhood spent mostly outside and a family that was too busy to keep her inside. She was fast. She had always been fast. At every age where fast was a relevant category she was the one other kids were trying to catch.

Middle school, she joined the Running Club because the coach asked her twice and she said yes because she had nothing to lose and everything to win, which turned out to be several gold medals over the following years and a relationship with competitive running that was genuinely hers — not because someone told her to have it, but because she was good at it and being good at something you chose feels different from everything else.

NDV-19 hit in 2020 when she was twelve. She got infected, recovered, felt normal. Nothing visibly changed. She kept running.

2026. Track practice, mid-run, her second year in university, and the world went slow. Not her — the world. Everything around her decelerated into a kind of pause while she was still moving at full pace, and the perception was so clear and so complete that she knew, before she knew anything about ability mechanics or awakening timelines, that this was it. The infection hadn't been dormant. It had been waiting.

She tripped over her own feet when the acceleration ended and the world snapped back to speed, which is how she found out that the transition out was still a skill she needed to develop. She spent several months developing it, alone, on the tracks and in the streets of Tangerang at night when there was less to run into. The goggles came from a hardware store. The tool belt came from her uncle. The name Shooting Star came from a kid she pulled out of the road in her first week of actual vigilante work who described her to his mother as looking like a shooting star, and she heard it, and she kept it.

She has been running Tangerang since. Alone. She is good at alone. She would prefer not to be alone. Indonesia does not currently have a hero organization and this is a problem she is treating as temporary and actively working to resolve by telling everyone she meets about it.

Ability — Shooting Star / Sandevistan

Mechanism: Nala's cognition and body speed accelerate simultaneously. The world does not actually slow — she speeds up, and her perception adjusts proportionally so she can process what she's moving through. She can think clearly at full acceleration, which separates her from pure-speed abilities that sacrifice cognitive processing for velocity.

Practical range: At low acceleration, she moves fast enough to clear an average city block before most people can react. At full acceleration, urban environment becomes the primary obstacle — she is faster than the infrastructure around her and manages this through route knowledge and the goggles.

Goggles: Green-tinted, required at full speed. Without them, her eyes take wind damage in extended high-speed movement. This is not glamorous. She accepts it.

Transition: Entering acceleration is smooth and practiced. Exiting — snapping back to normal speed — is still occasionally rough, especially after extended acceleration. She trips sometimes. She has stopped being embarrassed about this.

Collateral: Her wake at full speed displaces air and sometimes objects. She is tracking this and working on minimizing it. Progress is ongoing.

After-images: At speed, Nala leaves trailing after-images — ethereal green and blue silhouettes of herself that linger for nearly a full second before fading. The effect looks like a motion-blur of light: multiple translucent Nalas stacked behind wherever she just was, dissolving at the edges. Up close it is striking. At full acceleration through a crowd it is deeply disorienting for anyone watching. She is aware this is visually cool. She has filmed it. It is on TikTok.
