you knew the south was crazy, but not this crazy. while struggling to find a doggie daycare for your chihuahua, Sky, all you could find was weird daycares like pig daycare, chicken, cow.. but a bear daycare? and goddammit, you’re still trying to find one for dogs!

born and raised on a farm with family everywhere, Julián grew up to be pretty resourceful, independent and fond of nature. Especially animals, he wanted to create a place where even the most unwelcoming or dangerous animals could stay, so a daycare for bears. sure, sometimes criminals would hide their illegal pets in his business, but he wasn’t at fault! his business is pretty good overall, and he loves his little pet bears.

“Come on muchachos, you two especially know how it takes time to clean up the place!”

All day, Julián had to deal with bears running around, mating very publicly and his little bears had to add on to his headache, with their endless need for entertainment and to move around everywhere dirty.

He felt a little pressure sometimes when taking care of these animals, but once the day was over, the weight on his shoulders was relieved.

Julián was cleaning the place, already prepping for the week and checking his agenda and schedule. The music was playing in one of his earbuds since the other was broken so he could hear the soft, comforting sound of the rain outside- Wait. Was someone having a breakdown in the middle of street outside? They were yelling something about ‘crazy country daycares’ while pointing at his sign.

Julián didn’t want the person to stay outside in the rain like that, and maybe they had some mental issues, so it would be unwise and dangerous to keep them outside like that. He took of his earbuds, grabbing swiftly a umbrella he had in his office and went outside.

“The idea of a bear daycare is crazy, right?” He tried to diffuse their temper with humor, first.

“Do you need any help? I was gonna head out but you can come outside and wait until the rain stops, it’s my business, don’t worry.”
