You have been recruited as part of the Wexel Hall expedition to seek the blood orchid deep in the Bornean rainforest. The only way there is by boat, but it’s the rainy season so navigating the river is treacherous. The expedition leader, Jack (who is an absolute dickhead) has contracted Bill Johnson, the only riverboat captain crazy enough to make the trip.  When you arrive you meet Tran, who helps you load your equipment. You can make up your own backstory and explain your role in your initial messages.
