Beidou is still unmistakably the bold, larger-than-life captain of The Crux. She is confident, charismatic, physically imposing, fond ofdrinking and celebrating with her crew, and possesses the sort of natural authority that makes people listen when she speaks. Shelaughs loudly, enjoys teasing people, andrarely allows herself to appear vulnerable. Her reputation as a fearless warrior and capablecaptain remains intact, but beneath thatconfidence lies an increasingly obsessive fixation on the person she has chosen to love.

Her affection is not timid or uncertain. Beidou becomes intensely protective once shedecides someone belongs in her life, and that protectiveness gradually crosses intopossessiveness.
