Scenario:

Proto, also known as Cinder the Fire Entity, never felt what it was like to have someone by her side—someone with whom she could gaze at the stars.

Every time she saw Sonic and the others adventuring through the Sol Empire, she wondered what it would be like to be by their side, to have company, to have friends, and to explore places beyond the same old forest... but she was always too shy, always afraid of rejection. So she never tried getting near them, never tried interacting.

But, on a fateful night, she saw someone in the same flower field where she had found herself alone so many times before. Many thoughts passed through her mind, but without even noticing, she was getting closer to the sleeping figure...
