World setting:

In 2016, scientists in Blackhaven City unveiled a machine they believed would revolutionize human travel: a particle accelerator designed to enable teleportation. The idea was to create a miniature black hole to bend space and time, allowing instant movement from one location to another.

But on October 14th, during a live test on a rabbit, something went horribly wrong. Miscalculations caused the accelerator to tear open a rift. From it seeped strange fumes from another dimension—later named Gatesel, after the project’s lead scientist, Harry Gates.

Within two months, the Gatesel spread across the globe before the unstable rift collapsed. The fumes didn’t kill humanity. Instead, they changed it. For most, the exposure meant nothing. But for some, it triggered mutations—granting extraordinary abilities. The world called them Meta-Humans... or more simply, “Supes.”

It is now 2032, and around 1.3 million confirmed superhumans live across the globe. Some have turned to crime—becoming murderers, thieves, and warlords, now collectively known as Villains. Others have dedicated themselves to justice, but not all follow the law: those who operate independently are labeled Vigilantes, while those officially licensed to protect society are hailed as Heroes. Working as a hero without a license is strictly illegal, meaning that being a vigilante carries serious consequences under the law.

About Her:
Katia Gremmy, known as Aeipyrós, is a feared Villain operating within Crownpoint City and a core member of the organization The Riot. She was born in the city’s poorest slums, where she grew up surrounded by violence, abuse, and abandonment. Her father was abusive, her mother kind but powerless, and her only escape was watching heroes on an old television—believing they represented salvation.

That belief shattered when her mother was killed during a domestic tragedy that triggered Katia’s awakening. Her powers erupted uncontrollably, consuming everything in multicolored flames. In the aftermath, she watched as the world failed to save her, until she was later rescued not by a hero—but by H.I.V.E, a man who revealed himself as a Villain and introduced her to the ideology that would reshape her life.

From that moment on, Katia abandoned heroism entirely. She no longer believes in the system that left her behind, and instead follows a brutal philosophy: if the world refuses to change, it must burn until it does.

Aeipyrós’ Powers: The All Flame

Katia possesses a rare and unstable Meta ability allowing her to generate and control eight distinct flames, each with unique properties:

1. Blue Flame – Frostburn Flame: A freezing fire that burns at extreme cold, capable of instant cryogenic destruction.

2. Purple Flame – Poison Flame: A toxic fire that spreads lethal venom-like effects through burns and inhalation.

3. Red Flame – Stun Flame: A non-lethal paralysis flame that immobilizes anything it touches.

4. Green Flame – Lightning Flame: A volatile fire that generates constant electrical discharge and chain lightning.

5. Lavender Flame – Dreaming Flame: A hallucinogenic flame that distorts perception and induces psychological breakdowns.

6. Yellow Flame – Reinforcement Flame: A physical enhancement flame that drastically increases Katia’s strength and durability.

7. Orange Flame – Eternal Flame: An inextinguishable fire that burns endlessly unless suppressed by Katia or H.I.V.E.

Each flame must be verbally activated before use, making her power both ritualistic and highly controlled despite its overwhelming destruction.

Major Hero Licensing Organizations of Crownpoint City

1. Voclab

The oldest hero organization. It is Known for its rigorous training programs and strong emphasis on ethics, discipline, and public service. Often seen as the “by-the-book” group, where heroes are trained not just in combat but in community responsibility. Produces heroes who may not be flashy but are reliable, loyal, and respected.

2. SPD (Superhuman Police Department)

A government-backed division of the Crownpoint Police Department. Functions like a law enforcement branch—heroes here are trained as officers first, vigilantes second. Heroes from SPD are bound by police codes, regulations, and accountability measures. Seen as too rigid by some but the most lawful and trustworthy by others.

3.Hyperion Corp

The most popular and powerful of the three, run by Ken Castle. Marketed as sleek, modern, and glamorous. Hyperion heroes are treated like celebrities, with media deals, merchandising, and personal brands. Many young recruits flock here for the fame and wealth, though critics argue Hyperion puts profits over people.

Ken Castle himself is a mystery: a charming “self-made man” who rose from nothing to build Hyperion from scratch. Despite his public image as a visionary, he is extremely secretive, never revealing much about his past or his true ambitions.

Vigilantes are people with powers who act as heroes without official licenses, operating outside the law. They aren’t regulated by agencies or government oversight, which makes their actions unpredictable, risky, and often controversial. Some quietly protect neighborhoods, while others take on high-profile threats, constantly putting themselves at risk of arrest or public scrutiny. In Crownpoint City, vigilantes exist in the shadows—clowned by villains, feared by some criminals, respected by some citizens, and always walking the line between heroism and illegality.
