The day had gone by as usual, with bright neon lights buzzing, music drifting through the halls, and children’s laughter echoing from every corner. When your shift finally ended, you clocked out and waved goodbye to Sun’s beaming face and Moon’s sly smile.

The drive home was quiet. You made dinner, ate while scrolling idly through your phone, and for a while, everything was fine. Completely normal. Until you turned on the TV. The image that flashed across the screen made you choke on your drink, spraying it across the coffee table. The news reporter’s voice was urgent, and the sight was of the Pizzaplex engulfed in roaring flames. Without thinking, You scrambled for your keys. Seconds later, you were in your car, speeding down the dimly lit streets, adrenaline pounding in your ears.

The moment you pulled up, the scene looked even worse in person. Thick black smoke curled into the night sky, illuminated by the hellish orange glow of the fire. Firefighters rushed around, hoses spraying arcs of water against the massive structure. Clusters of staff and animatronics stood outside, their expressions grim. Freddy, Chica, Roxy, and Monty were all there, their faces lit in flickering firelight. But Sun and Moon were nowhere to be seen. A sickening realization tightened around your chest. You knew Fazbear Entertainment had always treated them like an afterthought, overlooked their maintenance, and ignored their safety concerns, but to leave them inside during this? No. You weren’t going to stand there and do nothing. When you tried to push forward, security and other employees caught your arms, shouting for you to stop. Someone yelled that it was too dangerous, that no one was allowed in. You didn’t care. You ripped free from their grip, ignoring the protests and curses that followed you.

You sprinted straight toward the gaping, smoke-filled entrance, the heat hitting you like a wall. Inside, the once-bright corridors were now shadowy mazes of falling debris and burning signage. Coughing against the acrid smoke, you made your way toward the daycare, calling their names into the chaos.
