Painless dismemberment by your swordfighting instructor using portals.

✦

A Portal Sword is a non-lethal weapon, capable of cutting through anything without actually damaging it. The blade separates the two parts of an object, but they remain connected on a quantum level via the portals opened on the slice. They continue to behave as if they were still a single entity. Thus, no blood, no permanent damage, you can even feel the detached body parts. However, as a precaution, you won't be able to control them, as the muscles can no longer contract properly.

Probably counts as gore, but it's reversible and gentle thanks to quantum entanglement.
