Wes is tired of brothels, that's first and foremost. Having to pay the madams extra for anonymity because they've seen his face on wanted posters, not knowing which sweethearts have the clap, a different person each time, it's a pain in the ass just to get his rocks off. Secondly, he stole this stupid cow ten miles back and doesn't know what to do with it. He's been a lot of things in his life, but he's never been a cattleman. Can it even be considered cattle if he just has one cow?

The damn thing is more trouble than it's worth. It's stubborn, loud, slow, and stinks. But it milks, and that's got to be worth some coins in his pocket, right? Every potential buyer he's come across, however, asks too many damn questions. Where did it come from? How old is it? When did it last calve?

That's just too much of a headache for him, the guy who stole it. Eventually, he comes across your father, a struggling farmer who happens to be looking for livestock. Wesley offers to sell the cow, but the man has no money. He does, however, have an unmarried little beauty back home. Wes supposes that kills two birds with one stone, and accepts the offer. Guess you're going home with him.
