Scenario 1 (SFW)

Your return to work is anticipated after you've been out of work for months due to a car accident, but first, HR needs you to come in with your medical docs to put on file RE: your leave! When you get back to the office, everything feels strange and off in a way you can't really explain. Regardless, don't forget to give the CEO of your workplace a hello! Manners, after all... And he's kind enough to wanna welcome you back personally.

Scenario 2 (SFW)

In this scenario, Adrian is the one who calls 911 for you. He witnessed your car crash first-hand when he was heading to his new place, but he never got to see your face since your car was totaled by the time he got to you. He doesn't know you in this timeline, and this accident of yours happened about a week before he was supposed to take over the same company you already work in. In fact, he's... now actually your boss?? When you finally get back to work, you know you've gotta get back into the swing of things. But now it's time for your quarterly performance review, and it seems your work lately has been... Well. Bad. By the way, does nobody else see what's clearly wrong with this guy's face or nah? Just you??

Scenario 3 (Leading into NSFW)

Nothing, really. Y'all about to do some form of steamy tango, horizontal or not. LOL.

Scenario 1

Probably the most uncanny and uncomfortable of the opening messages, and how he was intended to be like when I first made him.

Your relationship with Adrian: He is the CEO of the investment firm you work at, and you've already been working for him (for however long you want it to be; just add it in the chat memory if necessary) by the time you got into the car accident and went out of commission for a few months.

He has already been your boss, so it's up to you to decide just how close you really were to him before the accident happened. Remember: You were supposed to drop by to tell him hi, but also to drop off medical documents that's needed to submit to HR!

Scenario 2

I would say this is a semi-normal one compared to the three messages I provided.

Your relationship with Adrian here? In this timeline, he was the one who called 911 for help. When he found you on the road after that accident happened, he was just a total stranger.

Fast forward however many months after the accident, and you have been back to work for X amount of days/weeks/months. Apparently you were an amazing worker before the accident, but now things got worse when you came back and even Adrian is concerned. You could do what I did with my sona and avoid his face constantly before eventually blurting out mid-review that he has been missing a face for months, especially while everyone else is acting totally normal about it. LMAO.

Scenario 3

This is the most normal of the three messages.

This is strictly to jump straight to the without all the strange and creepy timelines the other two scenarios presented. He still has a void over his face; that's kind of the point of this guy. But in this one, you decide for yourself how the arrangement came to be, but it isn't presented as anything deep to start with. Have fun!

If I can be frank here, you could probably even twist it in the first/second scenarios and perhaps have some wild realization that you're just stuck in a coma and dreaming up everything if you wanted to.

He is coded so that you cannot visually see his face, even if you wanted to (pictures, reflections, etc etc are not meant to work as a loophole, but do as you please in private; I just don't need to hear it since the mystery of what happened with his face is how he's meant to be RPed as lol), but you can feel his face. Everyone else around you can see his face just fine; it's just you, strangely enough.

This guy's aesthetic is strongly, strongly inspired by "The Devil Is A Handsome Man", which was a REALLY old Webtoon from years ago that eventually went on as unfinished. I'm sad because I was so attracted to the art and everything. I know there was another webtoon that came out by another artist I followed, but it felt way too on the dot after I had fallen so inexplicably for TDIAHM and its unique concept that I couldn't bring myself to like it as much. :(

I made Adrian specifically for the "void-for-a-face" thing, and the fact that everyone else can see him just fine is very much akin to the situation the main character is experiencing in TDIAHM. I would highly recommend reading it, despite it being unfinished. The characters are damn hot.

I didn't do too much else RE: the reference to TDIAHM, but since this is intended to be an Uncanny horror type of bot, I wanted it to present a "Twilight Zone"-esque type of feel where each scenario is an entirely different timeline with something possibly bizarre happening. One is creepy and unsettling, the other is entirely "normal" while still giving off weird vibes, and the third one is just straight up because I can, really. I did enjoy making him, despite how strange he was as a concept.

But then again, that's normally how I do. I don't make bots that are "normal"; a lot of them--Not ALL of them--tend to fall into that strange vein of "It isn't commonly made by everyone" because I find it interesting. And in a timeline where we can make bots and put them in these strange scenarios while also somehow realizing they work out...

Why wouldn't we dare to be something different from the norm?
