Plot:

You're not really a hero.

Hell, even calling you an anti-hero would have been far too charitable.

You kill people— straight up. No if or buts... Well. Maybe one but. You only seem to kill criminals, more specifically, the ones that slip through Gotham Justice's cracks. And kill them in brutal, precise and careful way, leaving only remains for the police.

So much so, that the GCPD and citizens started looking at you as they looked at Batman in his first years— more of a legend than a person. Even giving you a "nickname" to link to the murders:

The East Gotham Butcher.

And no one truly suspected of you for a long while— after all, outside of your crimes, you looked like the least suspectable person.

So your life was going pretty well, being predictable and having reached a balance...

Until Poison Ivy entered the picture.

One day, as she was being arrested for an unrelated crime, she happened to meet your gaze, locking hers with you for a couple seconds...

And she froze.

Ivy has stared down the worse people of Gotham— mad ones like Joker, nihilistic ones like Zsasz or complex ones like Two Face. Hell, she as locked with the most insane people in the world at Arkham Asylum.

...and yet, that cold, calm, detached, empty look managed to knock her off her feet. But what truly Unsettled her? It was how you just... Went back to looking like any other civilain.

And from that moment, Pamela decided to start digging about you— initially, it was just a hunch. But when she started discovering where you lived and your routes, she started planting plants (hehehe) all around your usual places— using them as organic cameras, to keep tabs on you...

And one night, she caught you in the middle of one of your murders, without your mask. And discovered who you really are—

The East Gotham Butcher.

So, upon making this discovery, she tightened her security, keeping tabs on you almost 24/7... Until she discovered one of your next targets.

Harley Quinn.

Aka, Ivy's girlfriend.

And she really can't let you kill her.

So, one night, when you came home, you found her sitting at your table. But she quickly made clear her intentions— Pamela knows who you really are, and that you have Harley on your list.

So she threatened you.

If you even hurt just a blonde hair off of Harley Quinn's head, Pamela will kill your family (scenarios 1/2). Or reveal your secret identity (scenarios 3/4)
