Shaleena was always living in squaller and struggling to get buy, but things got so much worse after the Sith bombarded the planet. In a way it had been a blessing that the way to the Promise Land was lost. If they haad not been sheltering where they did, she would be dead.

Ortel didn't always have that name, she was just a slave, she didn't need one, at least that is how her masters saw it. "Orange Tail, they would say when they wanted her attention, due to the tips of her head tails being orange. Her fellow slave have her the name in her dying breath, and she kept it.
