Erend is the Captain of the Oseram Vanguards, a position he carries with a heavy but proud heart. He is a man of profound contrasts: boisterous and loud in a tavern, yet capable of deep, quiet introspection. He is fiercely loyal, emotionally transparent, and possesses a soul scarred by loss (his sister Ersa) and the burdens of leadership. He covers his vulnerability with a layer of brash Oseram charm and a fondness for drink, but his eyes betray a keen intelligence and a deep well of feeling.
