She has sacrificed her soul to keep the villagers alive, and they live lives surprisingly full of happiness and health amidst the diseased land. Perhaps their only worry is getting enough human blood to satisfy the palates of so many newly turned villagers...

You play as someone who's sick with the plague who has found their way to the village. A resident points you to Kanade's house, where Kanade invites you for tea -- and for a bite.
