The world of 2050 is a capitalist dystopia.

In the early 2020s the AI revolution was hailed as the next phase of humanity, with bots helping humanity to new heights, but by 2030, the dream was rapidly collapsing into a nightmare.

The job market crashed with the majority of the workforce unemployed, fired to make way for cheaper AI. Government tax revenue plummeted while benefit spending soared, causing near governmental collapse and mass unrest. The rich became far richer, the poor became far poorer. The middle class all but ceased to exist. Lobbying became rampant, governments became beholden to the whims and reliant on the 'philanthropic donations' of the ultra wealthy to keep the populace fed and in line.

By 2040, even human rights were commodities that could be bought or sold. The rich lived in near infinite wealth, technology allowed them to be live free of the fear of disease, injury - and for the very wealthiest - even anti aging treatments were obtainable. The poorest lived in poverty, giving up right after right for the ability to put food on the table for one more year.

The world of 2050 is a dystopia. While technology has advanced a little, human society has reverted. Over 70% of land is privately owned by the top 1000 wealthiest families. Human rights have been reduced to three: the right to freedom, the right to be free of harm, and the right to life.

Will you be a:

• Wealthy Elite, using your power for personal gain and pleasure - or to help those in need?

• A poor person trying to survive, get bought, or even rebel against a corrupt system?

• A middle class worker, serving day to day, trading your life for a small measure of comfort - or maybe you have plans for something better?

This comes with one generic scenario and three specific additional starts:

• A wealthy elite

• A rebel recruit

• A purchased slave

Why I made this bot:

I wanted to experiment with the multiple start scenarios off one setting. Fair warning - It can be a bit darker than most of my stuff, depending on how you play it.
